We believe that transformative experiences don't have to be distant or difficult to access. Located on Chicago's southeast side at 2650 E 83rd Street, we're empowering people through our programming, inspiring others with our art, creating jobs, and fostering community engagement. We support local artisans and entrepreneurs in our FEOM Expressions retail store. We provide space for connecting, learning, and growing.

Who We Are

The FEOM is a community cornerstone at the intersection of creative expression and personal growth. We have a unique blend of retail and gathering spaces with a focus on creative artistic expression and personal growth. Our FEOM Expressions retail shop showcases handmade jewelry, crafts, and wellness products from local artisans and entrepreneurs, while our gathering space is more than just a venue; it's a canvas for creativity. As an art gallery, it inspires and invigorates. As a meeting and workspace, it fosters innovation and collaboration.

What We Do

We offer a variety of programs and services for creative expression, wellness, personal growth, and community connection. These include classes and workshops on jewelry making, digital photography, painting, sculpting, writing; chair and floor yoga, Kemetic yoga, sound therapy; art showcases, book clubs, group life coaching, group therapy, chess sessions, and storytelling. While we are teachers and instructors, we also welcome practitioners who support a holistic approach to well-being by combining social connection, mindfulness, creative expression, and physical movement. We aim to partner with local organizations and businesses to offer joint programs and events. We're also dedicated to supporting youth education and development by collaborating with organizations that offer chess, STEAM, and health and wellness programming.

The Business Name

People often ask us what FEOM stands for. It’s actually a beautiful collision of our names: FE (Fenesha) and OM (Osceola’s initials). Like many couples in the early days of a deep connection, we began to play with a combination of our names. We even commissioned a plaque that read 'The FEOM, Est. 2023' as a tribute to our partnership, months before we ever dreamed of opening business together. When the unexpected opportunity to create this space arrived, we didn't have to brainstorm for a name. 'The FEOM' already held the spirit of everything we wanted to build: a foundation rooted in love, unity, and shared vision.
