MEET THE OWNERS
FENESHA & OSCEOLA
To Our Community
November 27, 2025
Greetings!
Today, and every day, we want to let you know that we are deeply grateful for you. Thank you for supporting The FEOM this past year. (PS. It’s our one-year business anniversary this week!!!)
We appreciate every way you’ve engaged with us—whether you purchased products, volunteered at an event or with behind-the-scenes work, shared your smile, or simply took time to be in the space we are creating for your soulful well-being.
The FEOM holds a special place in our hearts. It all began with conversations where we were simply ideating the world we’d want to live in. For the past couple of years, wherever we traveled, we would jokingly explore what The FEOM could be: “Oh, that door would look great on The FEOM,” or “That type of tree would make The FEOM feel different.” Unbeknownst to us, we were literally planning a future we didn't think was possible so soon.
Thanks to strong belief, lots of effort, and undying passion, The FEOM is growing in a way we had imagined, and more. We’re learning how to be better business owners each day, and our intention remains the same: to provide the tools to help you be your most authentic and best self.
We are deeply grateful for your time, your trust, and your presence in our community—not only as clients and customers, but as someone we’re proud to know.
We’d love to see you again soon; come check out our new art exhibit, get a tour of the space, and hear about upcoming renovations!
Wishing you a warm, peaceful, and joyful time with your family and friends.
Feast on love.
Soulfully,
Fenesha & Osceola

MAGIC in Motion : Multiple Avenues of Growth to Influence Change
I'm Fenesha, a former middle school math teacher in Chicago who went on to be the bestselling author of The Equity Expression: Six Entry Points for Nonnegotiable Academic Success.
I enjoy empowering people and challenging the status quo. I expanded the walls of my classroom to reach thousands of educators nationwide as an instructional coach and designer of professional development. A decade at NWEA further solidified my influence, where I collaborated with education giants like The Algebra Project and Khan Academy.
My personal health journey fueled a commitment to women's health advocacy and a deep understanding of cyclical wellbeing – a lifelong practice informing how I design my life. For over two decades, I’ve guided self-care and healing experiences for women. In 2015, I founded the Chicago chapter of Women Grow to share alternative healing methods for women and nurture an entrepreneurial ecosystem. It was such a joy to connect diverse entrepreneurs, who went on to run the $2 billion dollar Illinois cannabis market.
Drawing from a background spanning science of mind to spiritual practices, I guide people toward mindful living. My strength lies in a nuanced approach to change– meeting people where they are. Today, you can meet me at the FEOM, a haven for soulful wellbeing, artistic expression, and community connection on Chicago’s southeast side.

Greetings! I’m Osceola. More than anything, I want to share how deeply moved and excited I am to work alongside my community as the Co-owner of The FEOM. Though it has only been a little over a year, this role has been a true dream come true in every sense of the word. It is a space where my past experiences and my hopes for the future finally meet, and I am eager to see the lasting contributions we can build together.
Before the birth of The FEOM I was Graphic Designer and Photographer with a career spanning over 25 years. Much of that time was dedicated to the nonprofit sector, where I used my craft to tell the stories of organizations through marketing materials and photography. I’ve always believed that a single image or a thoughtful design can preserve a legacy.
However, 2020 brought a shift. As the world slowed down during the pandemic and the usual hum of design work quieted, I found myself standing at a new creative threshold. I turned my hands toward the traditional arts, specifically jewelry making, and I fell deeply in love. This sparked Organic Mood Earthen Accessories, my own jewelry line born from a season of stillness.
As the world began to open back up I began vending at local events. It was at one of those very events that fate stepped in: I met Fenesha. Within just six months of knowing one another, we realized our visions were perfectly aligned and decided to embark on a new journey together—founding a business that would become a sanctuary for expression.
Though my heart and home have belonged to the South Shore for over 25 years, I am a West Side native, a graduate of Marshall Metro High School, a Saluki alum of Southern Illinois University (B.A. in General Studio Art), and I hold a Master of Arts in Visual Communication Design from Purdue University.
As I look toward the future of The FEOM, my greatest hope is to weave together every lesson I’ve learned over the decades—the technical, the traditional, and the personal—and pour it back into this community. I am here to share, to grow, and to celebrate the art of being human.
